Perlisten R18s Subwoofer

The R18s is a sealed subwoofer that inherits all the technology from the top line model. It provides sub sonic base for a  earth shattering movie experience.

The single driver is made from glass fibre composite diaphragms, multiple aluminium shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminium voice coil wire which enables an Xmax of 23.7mm. A 1kW amplifier provides ample power to fill the space with deep bass.

Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allows simulation of all the components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with a Klippel laser measurement system to fine tune things in.

All functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds ensuring sonic accuracy.

All R-Series subs share our 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using our App.
