Perlisten R8s Subwoofer

The R8s is a sealed subwoofer that inherits all the technology from the top line model. It enables extra bass for your bookshelf or main speakers providing an accurate bass for music listening or earth shattering movie experience.

The single driver is made from glass fibre composite diaphragms, multiple aluminium shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminium voice coil wire which enables an Xmax of 28mm. A 600W amplifier provides ample power to fill the space with deep bass.

Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allows simulation of all the components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with a Klippel laser measurement system to fine tune things in.

All functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds ensuring sonic accuracy.

All R-Series subs share our 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using our App.
