Focal Utopia Scala EVO M

The Utopia Scale EVO M retains the 3-way design of the previous 3rd generation Scala EVO that is a one of the popular true full range speaker providing deep accurate base is ideal for stereo listing and and can also be used in a home theatre setup. 

The EVO M model includes the new PRISM tweeter first introduced in the Utopia Diva Alta and the ‘M’-profile W midrange and a redesigned Woofer with dual-ferrite woofer.  

Focal Membrane M Profile

The new PRISM (Photon-Refined Intelligent Structured Membrane) tweeter is made from a multi-layer composite with carbon coating. The micro-structuring and layering allows reduced weight of the membrane and allows better damping control.

The IAL2™ (Infinite Acoustic Loading) separates the sound waves and absorbs back pressure to provide an clean crisp sound.

It also includes the TMD® suspension, NIC motor and MRR cabinet

The Focal Utopia Scala EVO M features a Ultra-powerful 16cm ferrite double magnet for the 10.6 inch (27 cm) woofer.

The OPC+™ (Optimum Phase Crossover) allows the treble and bass to also be adjusted by ±1dB. It is a full range speaker that can even be used to serve as a LFE channel.

The midrange, midbass and woofer cones are constructed out of Woven Glass Fibre as skin with a polymethacrylimide foam for the core.

The Gamma™ Structure uses variable, up to 5cm, MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) layers, making the cabinets ultra rigid with the spectacular curved sides and backbone of the loudspeaker for the ideal time alignment. Each loudspeaker is housed in a separate cabinet. The rigidity of the cabinet is enhanced by MRR (Machined Reinforced aluminium Rings).
